Deal Varney have acquired a barn conversion at Welford, taking 1,450 sq ft of space on the Welford Estate. Apparently you can small Mary Berry’s buns from the offices which are rural but with fibre connection. Brunsden Associates and Savills acted for Welford Farms Limited.
Latest news from Deal Varney
In recent weeks there has been a slight reduction in the level of enquiries for commercial property which is possibly seasonal but also could be due to the uncertainty as we await the outcome of the EU Referendum. It is typical for the commercial market to slow down when an election is imminent so we fully expect the market to pick up again in July. Despite this downturn there have been a number of transactions that have completed but the issues that are of main concern in the office and industrial markets is the lack of supply due to recent take up.
Disposals that completed during May include;
3,500 sq ft of warehouse at Argents Mere on Hambridge Lane. Occupied by a Newbury company relocating from the Bone Lane area, the building has been let by Deal Varney on behalf of the landlord IO2 Property Company Limited, for a term of 10 years.
