Has finally completed with the operator, 7Bone, commencing fit out soon to provide a new burger outlet. The letting is one of a number of changes in the principal retail street that we will see emerge in the coming months.
Latest news from Deal Varney

With so much residential development in the pipeline in West Berkshire there has to come a time when the retail market jumps back into life but this remains fairly slow, although some lettings in the prime and good secondary locations are starting to show better statistics. However, there remains no shortage of enquiries for restaurant use with a number of refresh and new lettings coming through the pipeline.
During the month Deal Varney recorded the following transactions;
On the retail scene the agent reports the letting of 11 Weavers Walk for use as a new pizza and ice-cream establishment. Many people will be familiar with the ice-creams as the business currently runs from the retro van parked in Northbrook Street, serving high quality ice-cream and this business will soon add pizza’s to its menu when they move into the shop following the fit out.
The final unit in Venture House, Bone Lane, has now sold where Deal Varney acted for the developer Kindale Limited. Unit H, comprising 8,434 sq ft has been purchased by a Newbury based company using the building for their own occupation. This sale completes the disposal of the entire terrace which Deal Varney acquired in 2014.
